More About the 2022 Be a Math Person Conference

(PSST! Ready to register?? Scroll all the way down to the bottom and click "Get Access Now!")

Heeeey, fellow teacher friend!!

Lemme guess.

You need a certain amount of PD hours before the end of the year (booooo!).

You just can NOT spend another weekend doing a boring training by someone who hasn't been in the classroom for 20 years.

And you just can't justify spending your own money and time off for something that's probably not even going to help you.

Educators are professionals.

We're constantly reflecting on our strengths and opportunities for growth as teachers, so you already know what you need help with when it comes to your math instruction.

All of the presenters, including me, believe that it's not just students who need voice and choice in their learning.

Teachers need that, too.

The 2022 Be a Math Person Conference is THE most flexible opportunity for you to get the professional development you want and need for your math teaching.

You can get TOTALLY FREE ACCESS January 7th-9th by using the coupon code 'TEMP22' to register.

Just note that those with free, temporary access won't be able to login after January 9th.

I highly recommend that you buy the All-Access Pass for $57 now, because the Insider Bonus Bundle alone is worth it (it's valued at over $250!!).

But if you're on the fence, that's OK too!

We'll show you how to upgrade later if you just want to start with the free, temporary access.

What's the Be a Math Person Conference All About?

This conference is PERFECT for you if you've ever wondered how to:

- Get Students to Stop Talking

It's just SO FRUSTRATING when your kids keep talking over you, isn' t it?

You might have noticed that your students listen when certain teachers or admin are around, but they just don't seem to respect you.

And how can you teach if they won't be quiet?!

You'll FINALLY earn how to get students to stop talking.

You'll also learn why this is happening, and how to address it.

-Have Your Students Participate in Math

At this point, you'd take the students just PARTICIPATING.

Like, actually doing any of the work.

...but when you're really honest with yourself, you'd love to see your students actually get excited for math (instead of groaning as they take their math books out).

- Fully Engage Students in Learning

We all know how important it is to have student-centered learning.

But how? And what does student-centered learning actually look like??

During this conference, you'll learn several tips, methods and strategies to help your students experience pure flow and full presence while learning!

- Differentiate Math Instruction

In most math blocks, students are missing out on instruction.

How can we simultaneously challenge gifted students, enrich students who have mastered a standard, scaffold for struggling students, provide supports for ELLs, accommodate and modify for students on IEPs? It even SOUNDS exhausting.

Thankfully, we have veteran teachers specializing in this area presenting.

- Manage Math Workshop & Centers

There is just SO MUCH that goes into maintaining and facilitating math centers.

What do students do at their stations? How do you plan for guided math?

What do students work on while they're still at their desks? What data do you track? We have experts on this topic speaking at this year's conference.

Why Attend the 2022 Be a Math Person Conference?

I totally get it if you're hesitant.

2021 has been one heck of a year; it's certainly given 2020 a run for its money!

But this is exactly why we all need this.

This is not a conference where you'll just be taught or preached to. This is a community experience to reignite your spark for teaching!

And it's totally free January 7th-9th.

This conference is PERFECT for teachers, tutors, educators and math instructional coaches.

You can watch and participate from wherever you want, while wearing whatever you want (yay for leggings and sweatpants!!).

Most of this conference (including the sessions) will be completely asynchronous, and ALL OF IT will be online.
